Types of Database
There are two main types of database
- Manual database
- Computerised database
- Manual database: This method is used in the storage of databases in filing cabinets. This was the most common method of storing huge volumes of information or data before the advent of computers.
- Computerised database: This is a modern database system. Computers are used to organise and store data for easy retrieval and usage.
