Summary
Work is defined as the application of force to an object or body such that the object or body moves through a distance. Work is said to be done whenever a load moves through a distance.
Force is a push or pull which changes a body’s state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line.
Energy is the ability to do work. Energy has the same unit as work, that is, energy is measured in joules.
The two sources of energy to be considered at this level are renewable and renewable energy.
Power is the rate at which work is done. It can also be said to be the rate of transfer of energy or the rate of doing work. i.e. work done divided by time.
