Summary and Evaluation of Living Things
Living things refer to those organisms (plants and animals) which possess life and have the ability to eat, grow, respire, reproduce, obtain and use energy.
Habitat is a place where an organism lives naturally. Specifically, it means the home where an organism (plant or animal) inhabits. Ponds, ant-hills, leaves, soil, water, etc. are examples of habitat.
There are basically three types of habitats, which are: Aquatic habitat, Terrestrial habitat and Arboreal habitat
Aquatic habitat refers to water environment. Terrestrial habitat refers to land environment. While arboreal is a habitat above ground level where certain organisms are able to live and feed.
