Chemicals are raw materials that are produced in the laboratory which are required in small or large quantities by chemical industries for chemical processes.
Chemicals are majorly classified into two, namely: chemicals based on use and chemicals based on hazardous nature
Chemicals based on use is further classified into five, which are Pharmaceutical / cosmetics chemicals; Nuclear chemicals; Agrochemicals; Industrial chemicals and Laboratory chemicals.
Based on hazardous nature, chemicals can be grouped into: Highly hazardous and toxic chemicals; Moderately hazardous and toxic chemicals and Non-hazardous and non-toxic chemicals.
