Summary of One-Point Perspective Drawing
One-point perspective drawing is a drawing that gives the distant part of an object, like a building or road. They are realistic 3-D drawings. Objects that are far away are drawn smaller and closer together than objects that are close.
One-point perspective drawing is similar to oblique projection.
One point perspective shows the front face and one side of an object and uses one vanishing point on the horizon line. All the horizontal lines of the object join at the vanishing point.
There are three types of perspective drawing which are one-point perspective drawing, two-point perspective drawing and three-point perspective drawing as discussed in this chapter.
