Summary of Metal Work Hand Tools
Tools are appliances employed to do different kinds of jobs in the bench-fitting workshop. Hand tools are tools used by the metal worker to cut, drive, mark or measure any metal workpiece.
Measurement is an activity that involves taking, checking and recording of distance between two points (or dimension) of object.

Marking out tools are hand tools used for marking out the required shapes of a particular metal from the sheet metal before cutting, in the metal workshop. They include: try-square, center square, scriber, punch, marking out table, surface plate and table, vee-blocks, trammel, and divider.
