Summary of Renewable and Non-renewable Energy

Renewable energy is the energy from a source that can last forever or that is replaced naturally. Examples of renewable energy are: solar energy, wave energy, hydro-energy, biomass/biofuels and wind energy

Uses and misuse or advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy have been treated in this chapter.

Non-renewable energy is the energy that can only last for a period of time and cannot be replaced after used. Examples of non-renewable energy are: crude oil, coal, nuclear energy, natural gas, and firewood.

Uses and misuse or advantages and disadvantages of non-renewable energy have also been treated in this chapter.
