SUMMARY OF ENERGY
Energy is the ability to do work and it is measured in Joule (J).
Sources of energy include the sun, food, water, wind, geothermal, biomass, heat, natural gas, petrol and charcoal.
The different forms of energy as discussed in this chapter are: chemical energy, mechanical energy, electrical energy, heat energy, light energy, sound energy, nuclear energy and solar energy.
Energy transfer is the process by which energy produced by a source is transferred to where it is used.
