Stages of computer programming
Before a program is written, there is need for proper planning on how the problem at hand will be solved. Steps or stages to follow are:
- Problem analysis: This is the first step of programming, and it involves planning and controlling the potential difficulties that may arise in the program.
- Algorithm design / Pseudo code: In this stage, all the instructions which are to be performed at different stages are listed. These are written in simple English language. It is called a strategy.
- Flowchart: This is a graphical tool that shows the steps or stages which are to be executed in a program. All the steps which are written in the second stage are now presented in a diagrammatic manner so as to make it easily understandable.
