MODES OF INFORMATION TRANSMISSION

When information is transmitted from a source to the destination, there are different modes of receiving such information. The three modes of receiving information are:

  1. Audio: This is the transmitting of information through sound which could be ordinary speech or music. It is a model that permits the receiver of information to listen to the content of the information disseminated anywhere through a device that produces sound. All methods of transmitting information that enables the receiver to hear sound from the sender utilize audio mode. Examples of audio modes include radio, telephone conversation, oral, beating drums, whistling, and town crying.
