Fishing Tools
Fishing tools are of various types, and are used for catching fishes.
- Hook and Line / Rod and Line: When this tool is dropped in the water, fishes, on seeing the bait, attempt to eat it and get caught in the mouth or body.
- Fishing Basket: This is a tightly woven basket made from palm frond leaves. It is used in shallow ponds and lakes to scoop up water containing fishes.
- Dragnet: Most nets are made of fine cotton or nylon with the right mesh size for harvesting fish.
