A desktop or personal computer is a micro-computer designed to fit on a desk hence the name desktop. It comprises of the system unit, monitor, keyboard, mouse and other peripherals.
Desktop computers can have a horizontal or vertical (tower) form factor, or be combined with a monitor to create an All-in-one computer. They are generally made to stay at one location.
