Factors Affecting the Distribution of Crops

The factors that affect the distribution of crops are:

  1. Climate: The climatic factors that determine where a particular crop is found are rainfall (most important), temperature, relative humidity, and sunshine.
    1. Soil conditions: The type of soil is also another factor that affects the distribution of crops (i.e. sandy, clayey, loamy), soil pH.
