Electronic mail (E-mail)
Electronic mail (email or e-mail) is a method of exchanging messages between people using computer. Email first entered substantial use in the 1960s and by the mid-1970s had taken the form now recognized as email. Email operates across computer networks, which today is primarily the Internet.
The e-mail consists of messages that are usually distributed by electronic means between different computer users. With e-mail, everyone on the network can easily keep in touch with each other and pass important information. An e-mail could be sent to and from any part of the world provided both the sender and the receiver have internet connections and e-mail addresses.
