Database Terminologies
The following are some database terminologies:
i. Data: Data are raw facts from which the required information is produced. Data can exist in variety of forms that have meaning in the user’s environment such as numbers or text on a piece of paper, bits or byte stored in computer’s memory, or facts stored in a person’s mind.
ii. Entity: A person, object, event or transaction e.g. student, teacher, book, patient etc.
