Classification of Farm Animals based on Habitat
Habitat is the natural home of animals. Based on habitat, farm animals can be classified into two
- Terrestrial farm animals.
- Aquatic farm animals.
Terrestrial Farm Animals: These are animals that live, feed and breed on land. They are able to adapt to the environmental conditions on land. Examples are poultry, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, camels, donkeys, horses, etc.
