Chatting on the Internet
Instant messaging software such as Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Messenger, allows users to contact friends and other people through the internet and communicate or chat with them in real time. When two or more people communicate in real time, it means that they are all online at the same time so they can send message to each other and reply instantly.
Users need to have the instant messaging software and create an account on it.
