Distribution Activities
The chain of activities taking place in the distribution channels includes loading and off-loading, transportation, packaging, storage and ware-housing, purchasing and assembling, etc.
- Loading and off-loading: These are usually involved whenever transportation is employed in moving the products from farm to the market.
- Transportation: This involves moving the goods from farm to the market, or to the ware-house. The products are usually moved to reach the final consumer.
