BRAZING
It is a process of joining two or more metals together using a solder called spelter. An alloy of copper, zinc strip and wire, where strengthened and high level of heat is required. Brazing is a type of hard soldering, that ranges from 450o C and 550o C. Brazing is used for making stronger joints and a red heat is usually needed to melt them. Different equipment is used for brazing because a soldering iron cannot reach the high temperatures that are needed for hard soldering or brazing. Brazing filler metal is stronger than silver solder, which is stronger than soft solder. Brazing solders are made for strength. They are used in:
